Biking is one of the most popular modes of transportation on Sanibel and there are 26 miles of bicycle paths on which to navigate the island. Rent bikes for the entire family. There are multi-speed bikes, tandem bikes, trikes for kids and adults!

You can even sign on for a segway tour. Yes, the electric powered human transport device is available for your touring pleasure when accompanied by a guide. Children must be at least 14 years of age.

If the Gulf waters are calling your name there's swimming, fishing boating, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing and windsurfing along the 14 miles of beach on Sanibel.  Take a Gulf cruise for spotting the dolphins and manatees, or simply walk the beach for some of the best shelling in North America.

 
 

And for the land loving golfers, our island has three courses from which to choose, all three, a golfer's paradise. Two courses located mid island and one on the west end of the island.
