And the Progress Continues!

It’s been a long and hot summer here in Southwest Florida, but thanks to our dedicated on-site crew and equally-dedicated contractors, encouraging progress continues on the renewal of Sanibel Arms West. Here are the highlights as we continue to look forward:

• 10 of 13 Condominium Roofs are now restored, with the final 3 well into the process of restoration! Given the sunny days and high temperatures, it’s not been an easy task — but our roofing contractor and their teams have certainly tackled with enthusiasm!
• Almost All Unit Interiors Have Been Framed In and feature state-of-the-industry steel interior framing!
• Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Progress is Still Underway across the property, with most units also fully equipped with new hurricane glass windows and sliders!
• Another Sign of Progress: the Sanibel Arms West Rental Office has been reroofed, electricity is restored and a new interior will soon be completed.

Our thanks to each of you for your positive thoughts and words! All of us are eager to complete our mission and see Sanibel Arms West welcoming you hopefully by summer of next year. Sanibel and Captiva Named 2 of America’s Top-10 Island Destinations This Year!

What hurricane? That’s apparently the question readers of Travel & Leisure asked each other when they named Sanibel Island (Number 6) and Captiva Island (Number 10) among the best in the U.S. in their annual ranking of America’s top island destinations. That’s an amazing accomplishment and speaks volumes of the natural beauty, tropical vibe, beaches, water sports, dining and more that makes Sanibel and Captiva so special, for so many.
