March is on it’s way and it is music to our island ears! The Sanibel Music Festival returns on March 3, 2016 to spread its sweet sounds across the island. Celebrating its 30th year of sharing
classical music of the highest standard from emerging artists at affordable prices.
Each year, the Festival presents seven concerts for its “Save March for Music” season, with piano, chamber music, recital and vocal ensembles at 8:00 PM every Tuesday and Saturday in March 2016, with the final performance occurring on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
The 2016 program includes performances from Kobrin, Schwartz, Warner Piano Trio; The Jasper String Quartet; David Finckel, Cello & Wu Han Piano; Vadym Kholodenko (2013 Cliburn Gold Medalist); Opera Theater of Connecticut presenting An Evening of Cole Porter and Mozart Masterpieces; and Olga Kern on Piano.
