Once again, time change is upon us and that means another month of progress and momentum for all of us who love Sanibel Arms West.

A tour of our property shows significant gains in a lot of areas — and while we aren’t close enough yet to specify a “welcome back” date, we can certainly look forward to 2024 and see that milestone on the horizon!

Here’s our exciting progress report:

• ALL 13 CONDOMINIUM ROOFS ARE 100% COMPLETED AND 4 BUILDINGS ARE NOW EQUIPPED WITH MANSARDS (the attractive, sloping trim that surrounds our rooftops).
• INSTALLATION OF ALL-NEW ELECTRICAL SERVICE IS UNDERWAY. This is a new, important and labor-intensive operation that features new breaker boxes and new wiring that runs through our buildings versus their previous location under units — a plus in both performance during bad weather and insurance.
• PLUS MORE PROGRESS HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE: next projects will include new staircases for all beachfront buildings, lanai screenings and the reframing of our popular recreation center.
  
• FINALLY, AN IMPORTANT NOTE IF YOU’RE VISITING SANIBEL IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. To expedite causeway road repairs toward an end-of-year completion date, traffic will be limited to alternating one-lane travel each weekend, beginning every Friday at 7 pm and ending every Monday at 6 am.
