It was September 28, 2023 — just a few days ago — when these new images of the progress at Sanibel Arms West were captured. And as we all know, we have September 28, 2022 and a hurricane named Ian to blame.

But it’s October now, and instead of looking back or looking down, things here at 827 East Gulf Drive are definitely looking up — and that’s everywhere you look, from our flourishing and beautiful grounds to inside our 104 busy and active units!

Here’s our exciting progress report:

• ALL 13 CONDOMINIUM ROOFS are now restored! It’s been a long and hot summer and early fall, and our roofing contractor teams have been amazing!
• 9 OF OUR CONDOMINIUM BUILDINGS AND THEIR UNITS HAVE ROUGH ELECTRICAL — and more progress is made every day!
• PLUS, 6 OF OUR CONDOMINIUM BUILDINGS AND THEIR UNITS ALSO ARE OUTFITTED WITH ROUGH PLUMBING — remarkable efforts by everyone in just a few short months!
• ANOTHER SIGN OF PROGRESS: CITY, COUNTY AND STATE OFFICIALS HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT THE SANIBEL CAUSEWAY ROADWAY WILL BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL BY THE END OF 2023 (with the causeway islands following later).
