Lookin’ Good and Gettin’ Better Every Day on Sanibel
April has arrived and with it comes spring’s promise of better and brighter days ahead — both in our beautiful weather this time of year, as well as the exciting progress taking place here at Sanibel Arms West.
There are many reasons to celebrate the dawn of another beautiful day. At Sanibel Arms West, that means encouraging progress on our infrastructure to include electricity, plumbing, air handling, interior framing and finishing, plus positive momentum on our beachfront lodging.
More signs of better days?
Here at our East End beaches, as well as up and down Sanibel Island, an incredible and massive beach renourishment effort is close to wrapping up this April. When completed, this vital work to our tourism economy will see more than 400,000 tons of sand ready to welcome residents and guests back to America’s best beaches, seashells and sunshine. You can read all about it here.
Another island “institution” that’s returning April 17 is the 31st annual Sam Bailey’s Island Night at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. If you’re here, you won’t want to miss this always-fun tradition where businesses, families and friends come together to cheer on baseball…and our recovery. You can read all about it here.
Plus for a handy and up-to-date list of all that’s open and opened again this past month or two, visit the Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce here.
As we move forward at Sanibel Arms West, we’ll continue to keep you alert to our journey back. And remember to follow our progress on Facebook, too!
We wish you, your family and your friends continued health and happiness, and we hope to see you again sometime later this year.
